Hermes Worldwide is currently seeking a Human Resources Manager who will be a key leader, responsible for managing all aspects of the HR function. This includes a wide range of duties from recruitment and employee relations to payroll administration, training, and compliance. The ideal candidate is a hands-on, proactive individual with excellent communication and organizational skills, who can effectively manage both strategic HR initiatives and daily administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment and Onboarding:
Perform the full-cycle recruitment process, including writing job descriptions, posting open positions, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and extending offers.
Employee Relations:
Serve as the primary point of contact for all employee inquiries, concerns, and conflict resolution. Administer and enforce company policies and procedures, ensuring fairness and consistency.
Payroll and Benefits Administration:
Manage the entire payroll process, including time card overview and processing payroll accurately and on time. Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local payroll and benefit regulations (e.g., ACA, ERISA, SECURE 2.0).
Training and Development:
Organize and facilitate training sessions on topics such as new hire orientation, leadership development, and compliance. Track and evaluate the effectiveness of training initiatives.
Performance Management:
Provide guidance and support to managers on performance issues, including coaching and disciplinary actions.
HR Compliance and Reporting:
Ensure the company's compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations (e.g., FMLA, ADA, FLSA). Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, HR files, and DOT Qualification files. Prepare HR-related reports and data analysis as needed. Benefits for the next Human Resources Manager at

Requirements:
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a human resources role. Proven experience managing payroll, including a deep understanding of payroll software and regulations. Demonstrated experience in a full-cycle HR role, including recruitment, employee relations, and compliance. Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local labor laws. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with employees at all levels. Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications:
SHRM-CP or PHR certification. Experience with Paylocity, Google Suite, Microsoft Office Experience working in a small to mid-sized company
