Job Description

The Human Resources Director plays a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources Department. Reporting to the Chief Human Resources Officer, this position involves administering human resources policies, programs, and practices while leading a team to ensure the effective implementation of employment, employee relations, training & development initiatives. The Director plans, organizes, and directs various HR activities to support the organization's overall human capital strategy. Responsibilities include overseeing recruitment processes, managing employee relations issues, and designing and implementing training programs to enhance employee skills and development. Additionally, the Human Resources Director collaborates with senior management to align HR strategies with organizational goals and objectives. This position requires strong leadership qualities, strategic thinking, and exceptional communication skills to effectively manage a team and provide guidance on HR-related matters. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in human resources management and a deep understanding of industry best practices, and also enjoys having fun at work! Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field Previous experience in human resources management in healthcare strongly preferred SHRM or HRCI Certification strongly preferred Knowledge of employment laws and regulations Strong leadership and interpersonal skills Excellent communication and organizational abilities
