Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and collaborative HR Business Partner (HRBP) to align business objectives with employees and leadership across designated business units. This role serves as a strategic partner to management, delivering value-driven HR support while fostering a positive and productive employee experience. The ideal candidate brings strong business acumen, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to build trusted relationships at all levels of the organization.
What You'll Do:
Build strong relationships with leadership and key stakeholders; effectively communicate HR initiatives Partner with HR teams to analyze trends and metrics, developing impactful solutions, programs, and policies Support the full employee lifecycle, from onboarding through offboarding Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues through thorough and objective investigations Provide guidance on performance management, including coaching, counseling, and disciplinary actions Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and HR best practices Advise leaders on workforce planning, restructuring, and succession planning Promote a positive work environment that enhances engagement, morale, and retention Interpret and apply HR policies and procedures
What You Bring:
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills Strong organizational skills with attention to detail Ability to interpret and apply employment laws, regulations, and policies Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365
Requirements:
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of Human Resources experience Experience handling complex employee relations matters Working knowledge of core HR disciplines, including performance management, employee relations, compensation, and employment law
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience) Professional HR certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR, GPHR, or equivalent)

Additional Information:
This is an on-site position based in East Haven, CT This role does not have direct supervisory responsibilities but will serve as a coach and mentor within the HR team Must be able to sit for extended periods and work on a computer Occasionally required to lift up to 15 pounds Why Join Us?
