Job Description

Human Resources Director- Permanent, Full time (37 hours/week)
Location:
Greater Manchester, CT AreaCompensation:
$110,000-$130,000, depending on experience

Excellent benefits package, outstanding retirement program, and long-term growth opportunities!!!A well-established and growing healthcare organization is seeking an experienced Human Resources Director to lead and support key HR initiatives during an exciting period of organizational growth. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while partnering closely with leadership to strengthen employee engagement, talent development, and organizational effectiveness.

The ideal candidate is a strategic and hands-on HR leader who thrives in a dynamic environment, possesses strong employee relations expertise, and has a deep understanding of Connecticut employment laws and HR best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide leadership and oversight for all human resources operations and initiativesManage, mentor, and develop a small HR team of 2-4 professionalsServe as a trusted advisor to leadership on employee relations, workforce planning, and organizational development mattersLead employee relations efforts, including coaching managers, conflict resolution, investigations, and policy interpretationDevelop and implement talent management strategies to support organizational growth and retentionDrive change management initiatives and support employees through organizational transitionsPartner with leadership to execute HR strategies aligned with business objectivesOversee and develop employee training and professional development programsEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, with a strong emphasis on Connecticut labor and employment regulationsManage employee surveys and execute change accordinglyLead the rollout and execution of new HR programs, initiatives, and organizational strategiesFoster a positive, collaborative, and employee-focused workplace cultureQualificationsBachelor's degree requiredProgressive Human Resources leadership experience, preferably within healthcare or a highly regulated environment (5+ years)Strong expertise in employee relations, talent management, and organizational developmentExtensive knowledge of Connecticut labor and employment lawsExperience supporting organizations through growth, change, and evolving workforce needsProficiency with comprehensive HRIS platforms and HR technology systemsAbility to balance strategic planning with hands-on executionWhy Consider This Opportunity?
