We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Director to join our team at Gulfside Health & Rehab, a leading provider of short-term rehabilitation and long-term skilled nursing care in Clearwater, FL. Our 76-bed skilled nursing facility offers a variety of care services, including short-term rehabilitation, osteopathic massage therapy, long-term care, skilled nursing, and respite services. Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and maintain effective HR policies, procedures, and programs to support the organization's goals and objectives Recruit, hire, and onboard high-quality staff while ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations Provide guidance and support to employees, ensuring a positive and inclusive work environment Manage employee relations, resolve conflicts, and maintain open lines of communication Oversee compensation and benefits administration, including salary administration, benefits planning, and employee recognition programs Ensure compliance with all federal and state employment laws and regulations Develop and maintain HR records and reports to track employee data, turnover, and other key metrics Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and implement strategic initiatives to improve employee engagement, retention, and performance Develop and manage the HR budget, ensuring efficient use of resources Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, and recommend improvements to HR processes and procedures

Requirements:

Preferred bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field. Minimum 2 years of experience in HR, preferably in a healthcare setting Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and laws, including employment laws, regulations, and best practices Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Proficiency in HR software and systems, such as HRIS, payroll, and benefits administration
