Job Description

Job Summary:
Responsible for employer account acquisition and maintenance resulting in the identification and development of temporary jobs in the business community, and employer assistance as needed with issues and concerns related to placements. Works cooperatively with the business community, chambers of commerce as well as all program staff and key personnel at Goodwill in order to ensure an increased volume of temporary job orders through effective communication and relationship building. Deals with the local business community and chambers of commerce to acquire and maintain accounts that result in temporary job orders. Initiates business leads and follows-up on business leads developed by the Senior manager of Goodwill Temporary Staffing Services. Works cooperatively with the recruiter whose primary responsibility is to match the requirements of the open job orders with the skills of work-ready applicants to effect appropriate job placements. Assesses employer needs and markets Temporary Staffing Services to the business community providing education, information, quality placements and follow-up. Maintains an effective employer account maintenance plan, including letter writing, quality control visits, and telephone calls for each local employer who has utilized temporary staffing services, including contact persons who make decisions on the choice of vendor agencies and suppliers. Conducts final interviews with applicant candidates prior to referral to an employer. Ensures that all employer contacts are accurately reflected on the mailing list and that the mailing list is consistently updated. Conducts "account maintenance" that involves following up with established accounts to conduct "needs assessments" and solicit new business at least once every quarter. Calls on local businesses that have utilized Temporary Staffing Services but have been designated as "inactive" to determine the cause of the status and to reactivate the account by ensuring resolution of outstanding issues. The Senior Manager of Goodwill Temporary Staffing Services will determine when an account is designated inactive; however, once an account has not placed an order for six months the inactive status is automatic. Conducts calls on cancelled job orders and opens new job orders as required. Seeks approval for all temporary staffing promotion programs through the Senior Manager and the Director of Career Development. In cooperation with the recruiter maintains filing system for job orders, local employers and temporary employees and applicants on an up‑to‑date, accurate basis, in the GIS.net database. Achieves the established goals for new business job orders and wage rates as determined by the Director of Career Development and reflected in the annual objectives for SBS. These goals are the basis for revenue projections and subsequent expense projections. Completes all required reporting relative to office and field activity.
Business Development:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, and prospecting potential clients.
Client Relationship Management:
Develop and maintain relationships with employers, understand their hiring needs, and provide tailored staffing solutions.
Sales & Revenue Growth:
Meet and exceed sales targets by securing new contracts and expanding existing accounts.
Market Research:
Analyze industry trends, competitor strategies, and market demands to develop effective sales approaches.
Collaboration:
Work closely with the recruitment team to ensure seamless candidate placements and client satisfaction.
Proposal & Contract Negotiation:
Develop proposals, present staff solutions, and negotiate contract terms with clients.
Reporting:
Maintain accurate sales records, pipeline reports, and client communication in CRM software.

Requirements:
BA/BS degree, or experience substituted for the degree. Two years of customer service and/or sales experience.
