Job Description

Summary:
The Staffing Manager is a goal-oriented, self-starter with proven experience in recruitment and human resources. This role is responsible for the various human resources services, including but are not limited to making decisions related to the hiring, placement, discipline, payroll, and termination of employees.
Staffing Manager Responsibilities:
Acts as the point of contact for leadership team. Communicates operational data as needed. Develops a detailed understanding of branch performance and relays pertinent information to management as required or requested. Meets and regroups with management team daily to identify and plan for goals and objectives. Welcomes and attends to job seekers that enter the branch. Professionally navigates language barriers with job seekers as needed. Maintains office appearance, communication, and organization. Answers branch phone calls and manages voicemail box. Responds to emails and missed messages in a timely manner. Acts as a keyholder for branch and secures office daily. Displays appropriate office signage as needed. Conducts market research, generates sales leads, and sets appointments for prospective clients. Coordinates with sales team to grow branch headcount and anticipate client needs. Builds and maintains positive relationships with clients by providing excellent customer service. Fulfills all orders and/or client requests with efficiency and urgency. Ensures overall customer satisfaction. Evaluates and implements successful methods of candidate sourcing. Prepares digital and paper advertising. Organizes and facilitates hiring events as needed. Develops and maintains a pipeline of candidates tailored to client needs and expectations. Facilitates and verifies the interviewing, drug testing, background check completion, E-Verification, and other necessary preparation of candidates before placing with clients. Serves as an intermediary between temporary workers and clients. Investigates, resolves, and documents issues relating to said workers, including but not limited to performance, attendance, payroll, and client complaints. Investigates, documents, and evaluates matters regarding worker's compensation, unemployment, and discrimination complaints. Resolves matters swiftly and professionally while relaying pertinent information to appropriate parties. Travels to client sites for required visits such as candidate check-ins/orientations, site walk throughs, worker's compensation investigations. Collaborates with sister branches. Assists with shift coverage, order fulfillment, payroll, and overall operations of other branches as needed. Verifies completion of all operational responsibilities prior to leaving office daily. Works beyond typical office hours as business needs require.
