Job Description
Human Resource Manager (HRM) As the Human Resource Manager (HRM) , you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our human resources department. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee all aspects of HR management within the facility, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training and development, compliance with labor laws and regulations, and fostering a positive work environment. You will work closely with department heads and staff members to address HR-related issues and implement policies and procedures that align with the facility's goals and objectives.
Job Duties:
Partners with employees and management to communicate various human resource policies, procedures, laws, standards and other government regulations. Responds to employee relations issues. Monitors the performance evaluation program. Communicates benefits information to employees. Interviews, screens and recruits job applicants to fill job openings. Conducts new hire orientations. Coaches, counsels and guides managers before executing employee disciplinary actions. Participates in administrative staff meetings and attends other meetings and seminars. Responsible for auditing employee personnel files, keeping them current. Maintains working relationship with union officials and terms of labor contract. Reports, maintains and monitors Workers' Compensation, LOA, FMLA cases. Processes unemployment claims - attends unemployment hearings, if needed. Maintains and coordinates employee recognition programs.Qualifications:
2+ years' experience in Human Resources. 2+ years' experience in Healthcare (Long Term Care Preferred).
