Job Description

Position Summary The Human Resources Manager is the primary HR leader for Novopor US Co., responsible for standardizing HR practices across multiple manufacturing sites while serving as a hands‑on owner of payroll, benefits, and HR systems. This role partners closely with site leadership to support employees, enable operational execution, and ensure consistent, compliant people practices across the region. The position combines hands‑on operational execution with regional leadership responsibility, ensuring that HR practices, systems, and employee support scale effectively as the business grows. This position will be onsite at our Pittsburg, Pa site or Palm Bay, FL site. Travel to locations required. Key Responsibilities Payroll, Benefits & HR Systems Manage end‑to‑end payroll operations for the region, including oversight of managed payroll service provider Serve as the primary internal owner for payroll accuracy, timeliness, and issue resolution Own employee benefits administration, including enrollment, vendor coordination, and employee support Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local payroll and employment requirements Maintain and improve HRIS, payroll, and benefits processes to ensure stability and reliability Human Resource Leadership Serve as the main HR point of contact for site leadership across multiple sites Provide guidance to managers on employee relations, policy interpretation, and day‑to‑day people matters Support recruiting, onboarding, and retention efforts for hourly and salaried roles in partnership with operational leaders HR Operations & Policy Administration Maintain and administer HR policies, procedures, and documentation with a focus on delivering policy consistency across the region Ensure compliance with HR required regulatory and insurance filings Partner with Finance and Legal as needed on compliance, audits, and employment matters Qualifications & Experience Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required 7 plus years of progressive HR experience, preferably in manufacturing or chemical industry Direct experience owning payroll and benefits, including working with third‑party or vendor‑managed payroll services Experience with HRIS and payroll platforms (Paycor experience strongly preferred) Working knowledge of multi‑state employment and payroll compliance Ability to operate independently while partnering effectively with senior leaders and site management Experience supporting multi‑site or regional organizations preferred SHRM-CP or
SHRM-SCP
certification preferred Success Factors Comfortable owning processes and making business-critical recommendations independently Practical, hands‑on approach to HR operations Ability to build relationships with employees, peers, and leadership Effective communication across all platforms Focused on consistency, stability, and effective execution with a business focus
