Job Description

We are looking for an experienced HR Director to lead human resources strategy and daily operations for a growing organization in Sarasota, Florida. This role calls for a leader who can partner effectively with department heads, guide a small HR team, and support a workforce that spans operations, administrative, and leadership functions. The ideal candidate brings a practical, hands-on approach to employee relations, compliance, benefits administration, and talent planning while helping the business scale with structure and consistency.
Responsibilities:
  • Partner with operational and corporate leaders to shape HR strategies that support workforce growth, retention, and organizational goals.
  • Lead and develop a team of HR professionals by assigning priorities effectively, coaching performance, and building a collaborative department culture.
  • Anticipate staffing demands across operations, administrative teams, and leadership groups, and create recruiting plans that strengthen talent pipelines.
  • Oversee performance review processes, identify development opportunities, and address performance concerns with clear documentation and follow-through.
  • Maintain HR policies, records, and practices that align with employment standards and applicable safety-related requirements.
  • Support benefits administration by assisting with open enrollment activities, responding to employee questions, and helping employees understand available programs.
  • Manage employee relations matters across a diverse workforce, providing guidance on sensitive workplace concerns with professionalism and consistency.
  • Contribute to HR process improvement efforts, including supporting the rollout and adoption of consolidated HR-related systems and tools as needed.
