As our Director, Human Resources, you will play a pivotal role in shaping how we attract, develop, and empower talent across the organization. This is a high-impact leadership role where you'll partner with senior executives, drive enterprise-wide people strategies, and modernize how HR delivers value, transforming us into a forward-looking, insight-driven function that fuels business success. What You'll Do You'll lead and integrate HR Operations and Talent Acquisition, ensuring a seamless and data-driven employee experience while aligning workforce strategies to business priorities.
Key responsibilities include:
Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, influencing business strategy through workforce insights
Lead the transformation of Talent Acquisition into a proactive, strategic, and data-driven function
Oversee HR Operations to ensure efficient, compliant, and high-quality service delivery
Design and execute integrated workforce planning strategies aligned to long-term business goals
Drive HR transformation through process modernization, automation, and analytics
Strengthen leadership capability and guide the organization through change and workforce evolution
Partner across the enterprise (including Tampa Electric and affiliates) to deliver innovative HR solutions

A culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement What We're Looking For We're seeking a strategic HR leader who thrives in complexity, drives transformation, and builds strong relationships at every level of the organization. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field
10+ years of progressive HR experience including leadership roles
Proven leadership in HR Operations and/or Talent Acquisition
Demonstrated experience developing and executing workforce strategies aligned to business goals
Experience leading organizational transformation, change initiatives, and process improvements
Strong experience working within or alongside labor relations environments Preferred Qualifications Master's degree (MBA or HR-related discipline)
Experience in union environments or regulated industries
Background in enterprise HR transformation or modernization initiatives Skills That Will Help You Stand Out Strong business acumen and ability to connect people strategy to business outcomes
