As a D&H Co-Owner you receive numerous discounts on services We are looking for a Human Resources Manager to support our Atlanta Distribution Center .
Responsibilities:
Responsible for all aspects of human resource functions including recruiting, employee relations, workers compensation management and safety, training and development, coaching and mentoring for a facility with approximately 150 employees. Compliance with federal, state and local employment laws requirements by enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions. Exhibit a motivating management approach that encourages change and creative problem solving. Coach supervisors on proper responses to employee activities, both recognizing positive situations and addressing negative situations. Partner with management to support safety endeavors and manage the workers compensation process. Train and development of management team. Oversight of human resource functions for a separate returns center with approximately 30 employees. Supervision of office support personnel. Administration of policies/procedures in a fair and consistent manner. Professionally address issues with employees utilizing the proper resources. Excellent communication with all employees to ensure that they receive all information necessary for success including orientation, benefit enrollments, and company updates. Excellent prioritizing, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills, including understanding when it's necessary to operate with a strong sense of urgency. Ability to ensure that deadlines are met in a fast-paced and high-intensity environment. Ability to perform clerical and administrative duties with accuracy and attention to detail. Requirements:
Minimum of 2-4 years of Human Resource Management experience in a distribution or manufacturing environment. Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
