HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT
The Senior Director, HR Strategy & Organization Effectiveness is a senior enterprise HR leader responsible for shaping and driving the organization's HR strategy, leading large-scale transformation initiatives, and advancing organizational effectiveness across the business. This role partners closely with executives to align people strategies with business objectives, ensuring the organization is structured, enabled, and equipped to deliver sustained performance and growth. This leader acts as a thought partner to senior executives, translates business strategy into people solutions, and ensures talent systems, leadership capabilities, and organizational models drive performance, engagement, and growth. This role reports to the Chief Administrative and Compliance Officer and is based in our headquarters in Atlanta, GA. HR Strategy & Enterprise Integration - 25% Lead the development and execution of multi-year enterprise HR strategy, aligning to business priorities, growth agenda, and organizational transformation Translate strategy into a clear HR roadmap, balancing near‑term business needs with long‑term talent sustainability. Partner closely with HR COEs and HR Business Partners to ensure consistent execution of strategic priorities. Ensure HR strategies are measurable, outcome‑focused, and continuously improved. Organizational Design & Effectiveness -- 25% Lead organizational design and effectiveness efforts to ensure the company's structure, operating models, roles, and decision rights support strategy and growth. Partner with HR and business leaders on workforce planning, role clarity, span of control, and organization reviews. Guide HR leaders through change initiatives, transformations, and integrations with a focus on clarity, simplicity, and performance. Develop and apply frameworks, tools, and principles to support consistent, scalable organizational design decisions. Ensure organization design choices reinforce culture, values, and ways of working. HR Transformation & Change Leadership - 25% Lead enterprise-wide HR transformation initiatives, including operating model redesign, process optimization, and digital HR enablement through future-ready organizational design options. Assist in development and implementation of change management strategies to support large-scale transformation initiatives. Establish governance structures and program management discipline for change management and transformation efforts. Stakeholder Engagement & Influence - 25% Build strong relationships with executive leaders, HR leadership, and cross-functional partners. Influence and challenge senior stakeholders to adopt best practices in organizational design and transformation. Act as a thought leader internally and externally on HR strategy and organizational effectiveness.
WE'D LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF
Must have: Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree (MBA, HR, Organizational Development, or related field) preferred. 12-15+ years of progressive HR experience, with significant focus on HR strategy, transformation, and organization effectiveness. Experience leading large-scale transformation initiatives in complex, matrixed organizations. Proven track record of partnering with executive leadership and influencing strategic decisions. Demonstrated success partnering with HR and executive leaders on talent, organization, and workforce decisions.
Preferred skills and experience:
Experience in large, multi‑site or consumer‑facing organizations (retail, distribution, manufacturing, or corporate environments). Expertise in change management, organizational effectiveness, and leadership development. Strong analytical and storytelling skills to translate data into insights and decisions. High emotional intelligence, executive presence, and influencing capability. Passion for building inclusive, high‑performance cultures.
