Human Resources Manager

Position Overview:

Cushman's Paint & Body is a family-owned and operated auto body shop seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Human Resources Director to oversee and manage all HR functions for our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on environment and is comfortable managing payroll, benefits, hiring, and overall HR operations in a small business setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage full-cycle payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable laws Oversee employee benefits, including health insurance enrollment, changes, and employee support Lead hiring and onboarding processes, including job postings, interviews, and new hire paperwork Handle employee relations, including disciplinary actions, terminations, and conflict resolution Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations Coordinate and manage company insurance policies, including shop and liability coverage Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that align with company values Serve as a point of contact for employee questions and concerns

Qualifications:

Previous experience in Human Resources, Office Management, or a similar role (HR leadership experience preferred) Strong understanding of payroll systems, benefits administration, and employment law Experience with small business operations is highly preferred HR certifications (such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR) are a major plus Excellent organizational and multitasking skills Strong interpersonal and communication abilities High level of discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or payroll software
