RESPONSIBILITIES:

Maintains positive employee relations with all employees through effective administration of company policies and the collective bargaining agreement. Advises and guides management in the effective utilization of human resources. Holds responsibility for decision making with respect to terminations and performance counseling to assure consistent enforcement of policies and procedures as not to violate any state or federal law. Is responsible for the effective administration of all company benefit plans. Maintains the plant's affirmative action program. Manages the Safety and Security Programs to meet OSHA and corporate requirements, to assure safe and healthy working conditions, and reduce frequency of accidents. Manages workers' compensation and non-work related disability programs that control costs and ensure quality care for employees through coordination with the medical community. Maintains the Human Resources Information System to ensure it accurately reflects human resource and payroll information.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required A bachelor's degree or equivalent employee relations experience. Minimum of 2 years' experience in Human Resource Management or Generalist role. Previous HR leadership experience in an operations or manufacturing environment. A strong pattern of initiative, achievement, and leadership. Proven problem solving, decision making, and interpersonal skills. Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills. Experience in a manufacturing/processing environment. Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful, permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States. Applicants must not now, or in the future, require sponsorship for an employment visa. Preferred Experience with collective bargaining agreements.

LOCATION

Atlanta, GA Pay Range & Benefits:

At Hormel Foods, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. The base hiring pay range for this role is between $89,000

• $124,700 per year, and your actual base pay within that range will ,depend upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skill set, level of experience, and geographic market location.
