Job Description
Job Title Human Resources Manager Who are we? As an aircraft manufacturer, industrialist, industrial service provider and logistician, Daher currently has approximately 14,500 employees and achieved a revenue of 1.9 billion euros in 2025. With its family ownership, Daher has been focused on innovation since its creation in 1863. With locations in 15 countries across Europe, North America and Asia, Daher designs and develops value-added solutions for its aeronautical and industrial customers and partners This role will be critical in supporting Daher's Aircraft division site in Sandpoint, Idaho. You will be the HR Manager and work directly with the Site leadership to develop a local people strategy for the site. This role will report to the global HR leader for the Aircraft Division. Daher's Sandpoint, Idaho site is a key U.S. aircraft manufacturing and support location specializing in the hand built production of the Kodiak aircraft family. The facility supports final assembly, painting, inspection, maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) activities for the Kodiak 100 and Kodiak 900, serving commercial, multi mission, and public service customers worldwide. In addition to manufacturing, the site provides comprehensive aircraft maintenance, technical support, and quality oversight, ensuring compliance with FAA regulations and customer requirements, while continuing to expand production capabilities and reinforcing its role as a center of excellence for rugged, mission ready turboprop aircraft within Daher's global network.
JOB SUMMARY
Implement human resources programs by providing human resources services, which may include recruiting and staffing, administration of compensation and benefits programs, training and development, employee or labor relations and ensures compliance with applicable labor laws or regulations. Completes personnel transactions and maintains associated records. Collects and analyzes internal and external information in order to compare the organizations HR practices to those prevailing in the market. Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned): Implement Group's HR policy for the Sandpoint site Work with Site Manager and HR Business Partner to develop various HR metrics for effective benchmarking, research, and forecasting. Manage recruiting and staffing logistics once position has been substantiated and hiring requisition has been approved. Ensure recruiting is pursued in a way that complies with applicable laws and Daher's values. Perform audits of programs, recordkeeping standards, and other employment practices to ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Assist in recordkeeping requirements related to safety, wellness, and health reporting. Participate in employee orientation and separation as needed. Participate in the Social responsibility group deployment at the site level Partner with Site Manager to increase employee engagement through various programs / actions (employee surveys, events, speak up culture, etc) Deploy the Group HR processes and policies on site Manage all employee relations in accordance with Daher policy Communicate with customer regarding HR and security protocols Act as a business partner to all senior managers on site with respect to all HR matters Manages the Site's HR operations KPI's Ensure proper flow of information to support payroll production, follow up of PTO, and benefits roll out Manages the site HR budget and keep it under control Manages the HR performance review cycle (appraisals, objectives setting, training/development plans, people review, succession planning, etc.) Manages the annual salary increases and bonus payments Support VP HR, North America on region wide initiatives as needed Required Education and experience Minimum 10 years HR experience working with a non-exempt workforce Minimum 8 years in an HR leadership role Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or similar field of study Experience managing a team including team development Knowledge of payroll system operations and reporting functions (Workday and UKG) Experience with employee relations and conducting employee investigations in a confidential and timely manner Experience managing the full life cycle for recruiting, preferably in a warehouse / distribution environment Experience developing programs, policies and practices to maintain the company's compliance with all local employment laws Must have excellent Word and Excel skills. Preferred experience Experience with Workday and UKG a plus. HR Certification - SHRM Experience with conducting an HR Audit for compliance purposes Experience with process improvement Recent experience working in a global organization Experience in the Aerospace industry Information related to the position: The compensation range is $100,000 to $115,000 in base salary plus an annual target bonus. The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Daher considers a number of factors when determining salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, skills, and current market conditions.
