Director of Human Resources Spark'd Chicago, IL Job Details Full-time $100,000 - $150,000 a year 3 hours ago Qualifications HR legal compliance Employee mediation Employment law in talent management Full Job Description Join the largest 100% Employee-Owned Cannabis Company in Illinois HR Director — Dispensary33 & Spark'd Cannabis Lead the HR functions at an established, high-functioning retail company with six retail locations, supporting ~150 retail employees and ~20 management staff. Responsibilities Champion and steward company culture; reinforce the Employee Ownership mindset Recruiting, hiring, benefits, and payroll coordination Employee relations, performance management, and conflict resolution HR policy, employee handbook, and documentation Compliance with federal and Illinois employment law, plus cannabis-industry-specific workforce requirements HR metrics, headcount planning, and reporting to leadership Some travel to retail locations Requirements 7+ years HR experience, including in a leadership role Multi-site and/or retail workforce experience Working knowledge of Illinois employment law Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills Bachelor's in HR/related field or equivalent Preferred Prior cannabis or other regulated-industry experience
