Role / Title
  • Under direction of the Sr. Human Resources Business Partner, the Associate Manager, HR
  • Manufacturing is responsible for the development and execution of HR policies, programs and procedures within the facility, strategically sets the direction for the facility from a people and business perspective, manages employee and labor relations in a unionized or manufacturing setting, and manages training and development for the facility.
This position is also responsible for employee communications and engagement, recruitment and staffing, and compliance and benefits administration. In this role, the incumbent will be expected to solve problems, advise staff on all personnel issues, develop and execute objectives under minimal direction, make timely decisions, and have the ability to affect business goals and partner/participate in factory-wide initiatives and projects. Key Components of the role
  • Manages key human resource processes, including workforce planning and budgeting, compensation administration, succession planning, performance management, and organizational change/effectiveness.
  • Manages salaried and hourly talent acquisitions activities within the facility including recruitment, selection and testing, onboarding.
  • Manages employee & labor relations by investigating, resolving and communicating in regards to employee questions, issues, concerns, grievances, and sets union labor strategy for the facility.
  • Manages HR administrative & transactional work processes, such as FMLA, leave management, HR systems, and recordkeeping.
  • Works with corporate compliance and legal department to ensure regulatory compliance in all aspects of HR including ensuring the Affirmative Action/EEO Program is kept current and updated accordingly.
  • Manages all site training, including compliance and on the job training programs.
  • Coordinate and implement employee engagement and communication plans and activities, including community involvement programs.
  • Participates in and supports all internal/external audits within the facility as necessary Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resources, Communications or related field
  • Minimum of two years' experience in Human Resources
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills and the ability to work with individuals across all levels of the organization
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Strong drive for results, problem solving & conflict management abilities
  • Strong ability to deal with ambiguity
  • Demonstrated leadership and good organizational & planning skills
  • Ability to practice a high level of confidentiality
  • Experience in labor relations in a union manufacturing environment preferred Job Description As an Associate Human Resources Business Partner supporting our Granite City Manufacturing, you'll have the autonomy to drive all people initiatives
  • from shaping the efficient structure to crafting talent pipelines and executing bold people strategies.
Under direction of the plant Human Resources Business Partner, the Associate HRBP is responsible for leading the day-to-day people activity within the plant. This role provides real-time employee relations support and partners with plant leadership to ensure positive employee experience, policy compliance, and workforce effectiveness. This role requires visibility on the production floor, sound judgment, and the ability to independently manage employee matters while escalating complex issues as appropriate.
Your mission:
Champion people development, revolutionize talent pipelines, optimize organizational efficiency, and lead dramatic change management efforts. This high-impact position is laser-focused on driving cultural transformation to crush goals related to people, cost, and customer service. You'll support approximately 350 employees covering 9 Manufacturing lines including Capri-Sun, Kool-aid Jammers, and Kool-aid Burst.

Minimum Requirements:
3+ Years of Progressive HR experience supporting employees within a manufacturing, distribution, retail, or hospitality environment. Strong eye for business, project management, and technical proficiency in workplace technology and systems (eg. Workday, Kronos, MS Office Suite, etc) Ability to communicate effectively with senior leadership and other key customers influencing through data and insights Excellent organization and time management skills in a fast-paced environment Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, leading change through others.   • Ability to manage and support competing priorities in a fast-paced, multi-shift operation.

Bonus:
This position is eligible for a performance-based bonus as provided by the plan terms and governing documents. The compensation offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors
