Requirements, Education, and Experience 5 experience as a HR generalist or HR Manager. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Computer literate (proficient in MS Word, MS Excel) BS degree in HR Management or related field preferred Manufacturing experience preferred Preferred SPHR or PHR certification Duties and Responsibilities Direct all phases of the Human Resources function including recruitment, onboarding, performance & talent management, engagement and other related people initiatives or programs. Assist in managing Temporary Agencies supplying labor to the plant and hold the Temporary Agencies accountable to Pratt Industries Hiring Criteria. Manage new hire feedback and review process. Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies Administer all employee benefits including medical, dental, vision, STD, LTD, FMLA, vacation, paid leaves Investigate employee relations issues, including hotline reports, with focus on timely resolution. Maintain and administer any records or personnel files as required by state and federal laws. Maintain and analyze metrics related to absenteeism, retention, and other HR KPI's. Assist with processing biweekly payroll. Balance multiple commitments in fast paced environment Participate in daily/weekly meetings, acting as point of contact and HR Business Partner. Travel to locations as needed Additional duties as assigned by management. Mathematical Skills Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages. Technical Skills Computer literacy (MS Office including Word, Excel and Powerpoint) Proficient knowledge and application of HR laws and regulations Preferred Candidates will have experience with ADP and other HRIS's. Physical Demands Employee is regularly required to walk and talk and hear, sit and stand.

Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, and fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment can be, at times, loud.
