Job Overview Capitol Bridge Health Services (CBHS) is currently seeking a proactive and strategic On-Site Human Resources Business Partner to join our dynamic HR team in Bogalusa, LA. The HRBP will provide comprehensive HR support to our client groups, collaborating with managers and employees to align business objectives with HR strategies. This role will require a deep understanding of HR practices, employee relations, and organizational development within a fast-paced environment.

$55,000 - $65,000 Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits available 401(k) with company match Paid holidays Paid vacation time
Job Responsibilities Employee Relations:
Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations, investigating and resolving workplace issues in a timely and effective manner. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and legal standards.
Performance Management:
Guide managers on performance management processes, including coaching, feedback, and disciplinary actions. Drive performance improvement plans as needed.
Talent Management:
Partner with hiring managers and the recruitment team to support workforce planning, onboarding, and the development of career paths for employees.
HR Compliance:
Maintain knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Ensure compliance across HR activities and processes, including company policies & procedures
Change Management:
Support organizational changes, mergers, and restructures by implementing effective change management strategies and communication plans.
Training & Development:
Facilitate training sessions and workshops to enhance employee and management skills in areas such as leadership, conflict resolution, and HR compliance.
HR Metrics & Reporting:
Analyze and report on HR metrics, such as turnover rates, employee engagement, and retention. Provide insights and recommendations to improve HR practices and policies.
Policy Implementation:
Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures. Ensure consistent and fair application across the organization.
Project Management:
Lead and contribute to HR projects, such as employee engagement initiatives, benefits reviews, and diversity, equity, and inclusion programs.
Required Qualifications Education:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
Experience:
Minimum of two years of HR experience, preferably as an HRBP. Experience in a government contracting environment is a plus.
Certifications:
SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification preferred.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices. Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion is a must Demonstrated ability to influence and partner with leaders at all levels. Proficiency in HRIS systems (e.g. Paycom, ADP, Workday) and Microsoft Office Suite.
