Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Human Resources Director to lead our organization's HR initiatives and foster a positive, compliant, and high-performing workplace culture. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of human resources management, including talent acquisition, employee relations, organizational development, and compliance with employment laws. Your leadership will drive the development of innovative HR strategies that align with our business goals and support our commitment to employee growth and engagement. This position offers an exciting opportunity to shape the future of our workforce while ensuring operational excellence across all HR functions. Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive HR strategies that support organizational objectives and promote a positive work environment. Lead talent acquisition efforts, including sourcing, interviewing, onboarding, and employee orientation programs to attract top talent. Oversee employee relations initiatives, conflict management processes, and performance management systems to enhance employee engagement and productivity. Ensure compliance with employment and labor laws such as FMLA (Family and Medical Leave Act), OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration), workers' compensation regulations, and other relevant legal requirements. Manage HRIS (Human Resources Information System) platforms like Workday, ADP, Paychex, Kronos, UltiPro, Taleo, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, Paylocity, Ceridian, and PeopleSoft for data collection, reporting, and process improvement. Supervise HR sourcing activities including recruiting strategies and succession planning to build a resilient talent pipeline. Oversee benefits administration programs such as payroll processing, health benefits, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives while ensuring compliance with applicable laws. Lead organizational design efforts to optimize structure for efficiency and agility; facilitate change management initiatives during company growth or restructuring. Conduct training & development programs focused on leadership skills, employee evaluation processes, OSHA safety protocols, and HR best practices. Collaborate with senior leadership on strategic planning related to human capital management; provide insights through data analysis skills for decision-making purposes. Skills Extensive knowledge of employment & labor law compliance including FMLA and OSHA regulations. Proven experience in talent acquisition strategies and managing recruiting processes using ATS platforms like Paychex. Strong negotiation skills for contracts related to benefits providers or vendor agreements. Expertise in HR sourcing techniques such as employer branding and candidate assessment methods. Ability to design organizational structures that promote growth; skilled in process improvement methodologies. Excellent communication skills for presentations to senior leadership; adept at conflict management and change management strategies. Knowledge of payroll systems like Paychex or Dayforce along with benefits administration procedures. Strong understanding of human capital management principles including succession planning and talent management initiatives.
