HR Manager Severn, MD (On-site) $80,000 - $110,000 About the Role We are seeking an experienced People Success / HR Manager to lead and enhance our employee experience, workplace culture, and HR operations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of people, performance, and organizational growth. You will act as a trusted partner to leadership and employees, ensuring HR practices align with company values and business objectives while fostering a positive, inclusive, and high-performing work environment. Key Responsibilities Serve as the primary contact for employee relations, providing coaching and guidance Manage full-cycle HR operations: recruiting, onboarding, performance management, and offboarding Develop and implement employee engagement, recognition, and retention initiatives Partner with leadership on workforce planning and organizational development Ensure compliance with all employment laws and regulations Oversee compensation, benefits, and wellness programs Maintain HR policies, handbooks, and internal communications Support leadership with performance coaching and conflict resolution Drive culture-building initiatives and continuous improvement efforts Qualifications Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience) 5+ years of progressive HR or people operations experience Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices Proven experience improving employee engagement and workplace culture Excellent communication and conflict-resolution skills Ability to balance empathy with business needs Preferred Experience Background in manufacturing, food production, or multi-site operations HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR) Experience supporting both hourly and salaried employees Strong organizational and project management skills Benefits 401(k) with company match Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off Relocation assistance If you think this position is for you, please apply direct or email me at connor.burns@acepartners.com
