Job Description

Senior HR Business Partner Compensation:
Competitive Base Salary 12.5% Bonus Position Overview We are seeking a Senior HR Business Partner who brings a strong combination of tactical HR expertise and developing strategic business partnership capabilities. This role will support business leaders by aligning HR initiatives with operational objectives while driving employee engagement, workforce planning, talent development, and performance management efforts at the site level. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on HR experience in areas such as employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, HRIS administration, and employment law, preferably within a manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities HR Business Partnership Serve as the primary HR partner to assigned business leaders Translate business priorities into people strategies and operational HR plans Partner with leadership to support workforce planning and organizational effectiveness Support initiatives that strengthen employee engagement and company culture Employee Relations & HR Operations Manage day-to-day HR operations and employee relations matters Coach managers on: Policy interpretation Performance management Corrective action Employee development Ensure compliance with employment laws, company policies, and HR procedures Support a positive employee relations environment Talent Acquisition & Onboarding Support recruiting and onboarding activities for assigned business units Partner with Talent Acquisition teams to reduce time-to-fill for key roles Help improve onboarding experiences and employee retention initiatives Performance Management & Workforce Planning Drive performance management processes including: Goal setting Performance discussions Succession planning Support workforce planning initiatives and organizational talent strategies Contribute to HR projects and strategic people initiatives HR Analytics & Reporting Prepare and present HR metrics and workforce insights to leadership Utilize HR data to support business decision-making Support reporting and analytics initiatives using HRIS and reporting tools Culture & Engagement Partner with cross-functional leaders to drive a high-performance culture Promote employee recognition, inclusion, and engagement initiatives Foster a positive and collaborative workplace environment Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in: Human Resources Business Administration Related field 6 years of progressive HR experience in areas such as: HR Generalist support Employee relations Recruiting HR operations Experience handling employee relations cases and applying employment law principles Proficiency with: HRIS systems Microsoft Excel Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong facilitation, coaching, and training abilities Ability to work effectively with employees and leaders at all organizational levels Preferred Qualifications Manufacturing industry experience Experience in unionized manufacturing environments including: Labor relations Contract interpretation Collaboration with union leadership HR certifications such as:
PHR SHRM-CP
