$55•70K pending experience Job Summary Are you a motivated and detail-oriented HR professional looking for a new leadership opportunity We're seeking an HR Manager to join our team at our BH-AM location. In this role, you will serve as a strategic and hands-on human resources leader, partnering with leadership to support business objectives, strengthen employee engagement, ensure legal compliance, and foster a positive workplace culture while managing day-to-day HR operations. What You'll Be Doing As an HR Manager, your core responsibilities will include:
HR Strategy & Leadership Partnership:
Align HR strategies with organizational goals by partnering closely with leadership and serving as a trusted advisor on employee relations, performance management, and organizational effectiveness.
Employee Relations & Compliance:
Manage employee relations matters including investigations, corrective actions, conflict resolution, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws (FMLA, ADA, EEO, OSHA).
Talent Management & Development:
Oversee recruitment, hiring, onboarding, performance reviews, goal-setting processes, and identify training, development, and succession planning needs. In addition, you will also be expected to administer compensation and benefits programs, oversee HRIS data accuracy and reporting, support payroll coordination, manage policy and handbook updates, and serve as a point of contact for audits and regulatory matters. What We're Looking For To be successful in this role, you should have the following: Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field 5+ years of progressive human resources experience SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification preferred Strong working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
Skills Leadership & Coaching Skills:
Strong interpersonal and coaching abilities to guide leaders through performance management, feedback, and documentation.
Employee Relations & Problem-Solving:
Ability to manage sensitive situations professionally, consistently, and in compliance with employment laws.
Technical & Organizational Skills:
Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office applications to maintain accurate records, reporting, and compliance. Physical Requirements Prolonged sitting and/or standing at a workstation Use of hands and fingers for typing, writing, and operating standard office equipment Occasional reaching, bending, stooping, or kneeling Close and distance vision for reading documents and viewing monitors Clear hearing for verbal communication in person or via phone Occasional light lifting or carrying (under 20 lbs.)
