Collegial group of six ED physicians looks forward to welcoming a new Medical Director to the team
Based at an award winning community hospital just an hour north of Minneapolis
Level IV Trauma Center, ~15K ED visits/year
Work alongside one of several experienced NP/PAs during day shifts
Highly functional department
patients experience little to no wait for beds or transfers
Exceptionally flexible schedule: six 12-hour ED shifts per month (or as many as shifts as you'd like) & an average of ~16 hours of admin work/month (a significant amount of which can be done remotely)
EMS Medical Directorship
not• required as part of the ED Medical Director role • Epic EMR • Extremely competitive compensation: average $246/hr for ED shifts (with differential pay going up to $348/hr,) plus add'l medical director stipend • $100-200K signing/retention bonus • Generous PTO•accrue up to 240 hours annually • Comprehensive executive-level benefits: health/dental/vision, malpractice, 5K CME, robust retirement match & more • Emergency Medicine or Family Medicine background equally encouraged to apply This community's feel is the perfect mix of "suburb" & "small town"•you're only an hour outside Minneapolis & all its metro amenities, but it's also so safe here that kids still play down the street and grownups don't have to worry.
