WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION
This role will lead nVent HR PMO team. This position establishes and oversees project management standards, prioritization, resource planning, and delivery execution across HR initiatives. The HR PMO Director partners closely with the HR Leadership Team regarding HR initiatives, programs, and projects are aligned to enterprise strategy, delivered on time and within scope, and generate measurable business value. In this position, you will get to do the following:
Strategic Portfolio Management:
Cultivate the HR project portfolio, including intake, facilitate HR Leadership prioritization, sequencing, and capacity planning Ensure consistent execution of major initiatives Translate sophisticated project data into clear, executive level insights and recommendations Partner with project sponsors and project team to support
HR Transformational Initiatives Leadership Engagement:
Serve as a trusted advisor to HR leadership on project feasibility, tradeoffs, and delivery risk Partner with HR leaders to balance critical initiatives with operational priorities Partner with business team members to ensure alignment across nVent Build capability through tools, process, and upskilling of project management in HR Provide updates on HR Transformational Initiatives to the HR teams,
Key Stakeholders and Executive Leadership Project Governance and Capacity Management :
Establish HR PMO governance Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and dependencies and drive issue resolution and decision processes Define critical metrics and success measures for the HR project portfolio Lead action reviews and ensure application of findings to future delivery Serve as the HR Lean Champion, driving a culture of continuous improvement to deliver best in class processes to support nVent's growth. Partner with the Enterprise Lean Team, HR and Functional Stakeholders to conduct Lean Process reviews and implement changes Maintain HR improvement pipeline
YOU HAVE
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business or related field and/or equivalent experience 10+ years of relevant functional experience, mostly in HR, including 5+ years leading projects Demonstrated ability to partner effectively and influence senior leader decisions Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including providing executive updates Strong project management skills and experience with and Lean process reviews Demonstrated expertise with change management methodologies Excellent excel and power points skills. Experience with project management tools preferred Strong understanding of overall HR systems & processes Ability to work with ambiguity

Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.
Compensation Range:
$172,900.00
  • $257,000.
00 Depending on the position offered, employee may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as annual incentives.
