Job Description

Human Resources Director At MBCH Children and Family Ministries, the Human Resources Director provides strategic leadership and oversight for all HR operations, ensuring a positive employee experience while supporting the mission and values of the organization. This role oversees recruitment, employee relations, compensation, benefits, payroll, performance management, policy development, compliance, training, and leadership development. Key Responsibilities Lead and support all HR functions including recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, payroll, benefits, and performance management Supervise HR and Recruiting staff while fostering a positive, team-oriented culture Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal employment laws, licensing, and accreditation standards Partner with leadership on workforce planning, succession planning, and employee development initiatives Oversee compensation practices, job descriptions, HR policies, and employee handbooks Coordinate employee recognition programs, training initiatives, and volunteer management Support hiring managers with sourcing, interviewing, and candidate selection strategies Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master's preferred) Minimum 5 years of HR leadership and supervisory experience Strong knowledge of employment law, employee relations, and strategic HR practices Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR systems preferred Ability to travel occasionally within Missouri Core Competencies Strategic Leadership Communication & Conflict Resolution Talent Development Decision Making & Problem Solving Organizational & Workforce Planning Compensation Package Includes Comprehensive Benefits Package valued at over $15,000 annually Medical Insurance for only $25/month FREE Dental, Life, and Long-Term Disability Insurance Employer-paid retirement contribution equal to 10% of annual salary with no employee match required (eligible after six months)
Pay:
$53,163.93 - $64,025.38 per year
