Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and organized Human Resources / Business Office Manager to lead our administrative and HR functions with enthusiasm and precision. This pivotal role combines office management, human resources oversight, payroll administration, vendor coordination, and team supervision to ensure a smooth, efficient, and welcoming workplace environment. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and possess excellent communication skills to foster a positive organizational culture while managing day-to-day operations effectively. Primary Duties - Business Office Manager Manages billing, accounts receivable, and collection activities in the facility. Organizes, evaluates, and monitors business office operations and supervises assigned personnel in accordance with established policies and procedures. Ensures integrity and confidentiality of all patient's financial data. Performs collection activities for patient carriers. Establishes and maintains a system of financial record keeping including issuing receipts, preparing, and making bank deposits, and recording payments using proper segregation of duties. Interacts with payers to define billing requirements and ensures prompt payment of claims. Manages census activities including daily, weekly, and monthly balancing with the nursing and admissions departments. Produces reports for analysis purposes as needed. Manages month-end close activities related to charge capturing and submission of all billing statements and invoices to payers. Ensures compliance with all policies and procedures relating to billing. Monitors all ongoing projects related to AR, billing, and collections within the Facility. Supports, cooperates with, and implements specific procedures and programs for: A. Safety, including precautions and safe work practices, established fire/ safety/disaster plans, risk management, and security, report and/or correct unsafe working conditions, equipment repair and maintenance needs. B. Confidentiality and privacy of all data, including patient/resident, employee, and operations data. C. Compliance with all regulatory requirements. Primary Duties - Human Resource Manager Work with the Employee recruitment specialist with interview and backgrounds. Conduct interviews of applicants for potential placement for open positions within the company. Records and maintains personnel files in accordance with company, state and federal regulations. Handle human resources functions such as employee onboarding, payroll processing, and benefits administration Assist applicants with personnel issues or complaints. Update and maintain employee time daily. Complete payroll on a biweekly basis. Assist employees with payroll inquiries. Assist the team with monthly in-service and/or continuing education.
