Join Our HR Team We are seeking an experienced and strategic Human Resources Manager to lead HR operations for a growing multi-location organization with more than 800 employees across the United States. This role is ideal for a hands-on HR leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has strong expertise in employee relations, compliance, recruitment, HR systems, and organizational development. As a key business partner, the Human Resources Manager will drive HR initiatives that support operational excellence, employee engagement, and company growth while ensuring compliance across multiple states and locations.
What You'll Do:
Recruitment & Staffing
  • Oversee full-cycle recruitment efforts across multiple locations
  • Develop workforce planning and sourcing strategies to support business growth
  • Oversee onboarding processes to ensure a positive and consistent new hire experience Employee Relations & Engagement
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership and employees on employee relations matters
  • Conduct investigations, resolve workplace conflicts, and mitigate organizational risk
  • Foster a positive and engaging workplace culture across geographically dispersed teams HR Compliance
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws including FLSA, FMLA, ADA, EEO, and multi-state leave regulations
  • Maintain and update HR policies and procedures to support consistency and compliance
  • Stay current on changing employment legislation and communicate updates effectively Compensation & Performance Management
  • Manage compensation programs including salary structures, market analysis, internal equity reviews, and annual merit planning
  • Oversee performance management initiatives including goal setting, reviews, coaching, and talent development HR Systems & Metrics
  • Administer and optimize HRIS platform (Paycor) to improve efficiency and data integrity
  • Monitor HR metrics such as turnover, engagement, and time-to-fill to support strategic decision-making
  • Partner with payroll and benefits teams to ensure accurate and compliant administration Leadership
  • Lead and develop a team of HR professionals including HR Generalist, Recruiter, and HR Assistant.
  • Build HR capability through coaching, mentoring, and process improvement initiatives Qualifications Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • 5-7+ years of progressive HR experience in a multi-site organization
  • Experience supporting employees across multiple states
  • Strong background in employee relations, HR compliance, and HR operations
  • Prior experience managing or leading HR staff
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong communication, leadership, decision-making, and conflict resolution skills Qualifications Preferred
  • HR certification such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR
  • Experience scaling HR systems and processes in a growing organization Travel
