As Director of Human Resources , you'll partner directly with executive leadership to guide workforce strategy, lead critical HR functions, and elevate the employee experience across the organization. This is more than an HR role. It's an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on people, culture, and community. What You'll Do Lead and evolve our performance management framework, driving consistency, fairness, and growth Provide strategic direction for employee relations, including complex investigations and conflict resolution Drive talent acquisition strategy, workforce planning, and employer branding Serve as a trusted advisor to executives on performance, conduct, and workforce risks Ensure compliance with employment laws and organizational policies Use data and insights to improve HR processes and outcomes Mentor and develop a high-performing HR team Champion a respectful, inclusive, and accountable culture What You Bring 10+ years of progressive HR experience, including 5+ years in leadership Strong expertise in employee relations, performance management, and employment law Proven ability to manage complex, sensitive workplace issues with sound judgment Exceptional communication, influence, and problem-solving skills Bachelor's degree preferred (HR, Business, or related field) HR certification (SHRM-CP/SCP, PHR/SPHR) preferred Why Join Bi-State Development? Competitive Compensation Salary range:
