  • Full-time Overview We are seeking to add a dynamic individual to our management team in the role of Human Resource Manager.
This individual will lead our organization's talent strategies, employee relations, and HR operations within our growing manufacturing business. In this pivotal role, you will drive initiatives that foster a positive workplace culture, ensure compliance with employment laws, and support organizational growth through strategic HR practices. Your leadership will empower teams, streamline HR processes, and cultivate an environment where employees thrive and contribute to our shared success. Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive HR strategies aligned with organizational goals, including talent acquisition, succession planning, and employee development programs. You will coordinate with Corporate individuals and weave into local practice those HR values set by Corporate policies. Oversee employee relations by addressing concerns, managing conflict resolution, and promoting a positive work environment through effective communication skills. Manage compliance with employment and labor laws such as FMLA (Family and Medical Leave Act), OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration), workers' compensation policies, and other regulations. Lead performance management initiatives by conducting employee evaluations, facilitating feedback sessions, and supporting performance improvement plans. Administer benefits programs including health insurance, retirement plans, payroll processing using systems like ADP, or Kronos; ensure accurate benefits administration and HRIS data collection. While payroll processing reports to the VP of Accounting, you will aide in resolving payroll issues as well. Supervise HR sourcing activities such as recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, employee orientation, and training & development to attract top talent. Collaborate with senior leadership on strategic planning initiatives related to human capital management and organizational change management. Skills While manufacturing experience is important, ability to handle the full traditional HR duties is paramount. Hiring, firing, recruiting in a 700 employee based company is necessary for this position. Extensive knowledge of employment & labor law compliance including FMLA and OSHA regulations. Strong talent acquisition expertise with experience in recruiting strategies and applicant tracking systems. Supervising experience leading HR teams or cross-functional groups within a fast-paced environment. Ability to work in multiple business segments Proficiency in HRIS platforms such as Workplace Navigator. Excellent communication skills for presentations, employee relations discussions, and strategic planning sessions. Ability to manage multiple priorities through program management skills while maintaining attention to detail in budgeting and process improvement initiatives.
