Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead core people operations in Oxford, Michigan. This role oversees employee support programs, daily HR administration, benefits coordination, and onboarding activities while helping create a positive and compliant workplace. The ideal candidate brings strong judgment, a service-oriented approach, and the ability to manage HR processes efficiently across the employee lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
  • Guide employee relations matters by addressing workplace concerns, advising managers, and supporting fair, consistent resolution practices.
  • Oversee day-to-day human resources operations, including record maintenance, policy administration, and employee documentation.
  • Manage benefits-related activities such as enrollments, employee communication, issue resolution, and coordination with external providers.
  • Lead onboarding efforts to ensure new hires have a smooth start, complete required documentation, and understand company policies and resources.
  • Maintain and utilize HRIS data to support accurate reporting, employee updates, and process efficiency.
  • Partner with leadership to improve HR procedures, strengthen employee experience, and support organizational needs.
  • Monitor HR practices for compliance with applicable employment laws, internal policies, and company standards.
  • Prepare reports and track key HR metrics to support decision-making and operational planning.
