Job Description
A multi-state, multi-unit food service client is seeking a Fractional HR Manager / HR Business Partner to ensure continuity of HR operations across a large, distributed workforce, while delivering both strategic partnership and hands-on execution in a fast-paced environment. This is a 4-5 month engagement with estimated 15-20 hours a week commitment.
Key ResponsibilitiesInterim HR LeadershipServe as the primary HR lead in the absence of the HR DirectorPartner with leadership teams to support day-to-day HR operations across multiple statesTeam Oversight & CoachingProvide guidance and oversight to a team of HR professionalsConduct 1-2x weekly check-ins to align on priorities, provide coaching, and ensure executionEmployee RelationsLead complex employee relations matters, including investigations and performance managementAdvise on policy interpretation, risk mitigation, and conflict resolutionWorkers' Compensation & General LiabilityOversee and manage complex workers' compensation and general liability claimsCollaborate with internal teams and external partners to drive timely resolution and ensure complianceHRIS Implementation SupportAssist with ongoing HRIS implementation (Paylocity preferred), including:
Data review, cleanup, and preparation for migrationTesting and go-live readinessPartner with internal and external stakeholders to support a successful rolloutAvailability & ResponsivenessMaintain flexibility to provide support during evenings and weekends as needed, supporting the operating environment
