Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Interim HR Director to join our team in Graham, North Carolina. In this contract position, you will lead the HR and Benefits department, providing strategic guidance and hands-on support during a transitional period. This role offers an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact on organizational effectiveness and employee development. This contract role will be hybrid onsite in Graham, NC 3 days a week.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team to ensure seamless day-to-day operations within the HR and Benefits department.
  • Provide strategic advice to leadership, focusing on workforce planning, organizational effectiveness, and HR best practices.
  • Address employee relations matters, including handling complaints, conducting investigations, and resolving performance concerns.
  • Oversee compliance, leave administration, and ensure adherence to federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Collaborate with leadership to design and implement development initiatives and leadership training programs.
  • Serve as a hands-on resource for complex HR issues while mentoring and developing the HR team.
  • Evaluate current HR policies and processes, recommending improvements to enhance operational efficiency and the employee experience.
  • Act as a trusted advisor during organizational transitions, offering steady and solution-focused leadership.
  • Ensure HR practices align with strategic business objectives and foster a positive workplace environment.
