SUMMARY We are seeking an experienced and qualified Human Resources Manager to join our team. The Human Resources Manager will be responsible for managing employee relations issues and fostering a positive work environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in employee relations, conflict resolution, labor law compliance, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to motivate a team.
REQUIREMENTS
Proven working experience as HR Manager or other HR Leadership role. Demonstrable experience with Human Resources metrics. In-depth knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree and a minimum of five years of experience as a Human Resources Leader; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations matters. Investigate and resolve employee complaints or concerns, including harassment allegations, discrimination claims, and workplace conflicts. Conduct thorough and impartial investigations, ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable laws. Provide guidance and support to managers and employees. Develop and implement employee relations policies and procedures to promote a positive work environment and mitigate risk. Partner with HR Leadership to address complex employee relations issues. Monitor and analyze employee relations trends and metrics to identify areas for improvement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement initiatives that enhance employee engagement and retention. Stay current on relevant employment laws and regulations, ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local requirements. Nurture a positive working environment by promoting Pinehurst Culture and Values. Assist as needed with the recruiting and selection process, to include sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and making hiring decisions. Assist with all HR disciplines as needed (recruiting, training, benefit administration, training, etc.)
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, walk, talk and hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
