About the Role We re hiring an HR Executive to support end-to-end people operations for our Raleigh office. You ll partner with local leaders and employees across the HR lifecycle hiring support, onboarding, employee relations, HR operations, and compliance. This role is hands-on and service-oriented, with a focus on consistent processes, clear communication, and a positive employee experience. Responsibilities Support day-to-day HR operations for the Raleigh office, including employee inquiries, documentation, and process guidance. Coordinate onboarding and offboarding, ensuring a consistent, compliant, and welcoming employee experience. Partner with hiring managers and recruiting to support interview scheduling, offer workflow, and new-hire readiness. Maintain accurate employee records and workflows in the HRIS and shared systems. Support benefits administration and employee communications (enrollment changes, life events, and standard FAQs). Assist with employee relations matters by documenting issues, escalating appropriately, and supporting fair, consistent resolution. Help administer performance and development processes (goal cycles, check-ins, and documentation). Support compliance activities (posters/notices, policy acknowledgements, required training coordination) aligned to federal and state guidance. Prepare basic HR reporting (headcount, onboarding status, attrition trends) and track follow-ups to closure. Contribute to improving HR processes, templates, and knowledge base content to increase clarity and consistency. Qualifications Demonstrated experience supporting core HR functions across the employee lifecycle (onboarding, HR operations, employee support). Working knowledge of HR compliance fundamentals (e.g., confidentiality, documentation practices, and policy adherence). Experience coordinating recruiting or hiring workflows (scheduling, communication, and candidate experience support). Comfort working with HR systems and spreadsheets; able to maintain accurate records and basic reports. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain policies and processes clearly. High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment. Sound judgment and professionalism when handling sensitive employee information. Bachelor s degree in HR/Business or equivalent practical experience. Preferred Skills HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) or equivalent continuing HR education. Experience supporting multi-state teams and working within structured HR processes. Background in consulting / IT services / professional services environments.
