This role is pivotal in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations on the first shift, fostering a safe and productive work environment, and supporting our workforce through effective management and strategic planning. Bilingual proficiency is essential to facilitate communication across diverse teams and enhance engagement. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in human resources management, workforce management systems, and safety protocols, contributing to the continuous improvement of operational efficiency and employee satisfaction. Responsibilities Supervise staffing processes including talent acquisition, employee orientation, and onboarding to ensure timely placement of qualified personnel. Manage employee relations by addressing concerns, facilitating conflict resolution, and promoting a positive workplace culture. Oversee payroll administration utilizing systems such as Workday, Paychex, or ADP to ensure accurate compensation processing. Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and safety regulations through regular safety audits and training programs. Coordinate employee training and development initiatives to enhance skills and support career growth. Administer benefits programs, including FMLA management and workers' compensation claims, ensuring adherence to employment laws. Lead change management efforts by implementing organizational design adjustments and strategic workforce planning. Utilize HRIS platforms like Oracle HCM or SAP SuccessFactors for data collection, reporting, and workforce analytics. Maintain accurate records related to employment contracts, performance evaluations, and employee evaluations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize HR sourcing strategies and improve overall human capital management. Support project management activities related to HR initiatives such as affirmative action planning and succession planning. Qualifications Proven experience in human resources management, staffing supervision, or related roles within a manufacturing or industrial environment. Strong knowledge of employment & labor law, OSHA regulations, and safety standards. Proficiency with ATS platforms and HRIS systems. Demonstrated expertise in payroll processing. Excellent communication skills in both English and Spanish (bilingual proficiency required). Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively through project management and organizational skills. Experience with data entry, contract administration, and HR sourcing techniques. Strong conflict management skills with the ability to foster positive employee relations.
