Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and bilingual (English and Spanish) Production Supervisor and Staffing Coordinator to join our manufacturing team. This pivotal role involves overseeing daily production operations, coordinating staffing needs, and ensuring the smooth flow of manufacturing processes within a factory environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, mechanical knowledge, and experience working with assembly lines, warehouse operations, and manufacturing equipment. Your efforts will directly contribute to maintaining high productivity standards, safety compliance, and efficient workforce management. Responsibilities Supervise daily manufacturing activities on the production floor, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards. Coordinate staffing schedules to meet production demands, including onboarding and training new team members. Oversee the operation of forklifts, power tools, hand tools, and other mechanical equipment to facilitate assembly and material handling. Monitor workflow on the assembly line, identifying bottlenecks and implementing solutions to optimize efficiency. Collaborate with team leads to assign tasks effectively and ensure proper use of warehouse space. Conduct regular inspections of machinery and tools to maintain operational safety and functionality. Maintain accurate records of staffing levels, production output, and equipment maintenance. Support inventory management by overseeing material movement within the facility using forklift operations. Assist in training staff on the proper use of mechanical tools and safety procedures. Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement. Experience Proven experience in a manufacturing or factory setting, preferably within a production or assembly environment. Demonstrated ability to supervise teams in a fast-paced factory or warehouse environment. Mechanical knowledge related to factory machinery, hand tools, power tools, and forklifts. Prior experience operating forklifts and understanding warehouse logistics is highly desirable. Familiarity with assembly line processes and manufacturing workflows. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in recordkeeping and process management. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required for effective communication across diverse teams.
