Job Description
Human Resources Manager Leading Edge Equipment 701-213-2749 Leading Edge Equipment is searching for a highly motivated candidate to join our team as our Human Resources Manager . You'll focus on recruiting talent, managing the onboarding process, administering incentive programs, creating career and training paths, and supporting coordination of the company's health insurance and 401(k) plans. What you'll focus on: Managing recruiting efforts for the company including attracting and retaining employees and building relationships with local schools Training managers to perform interviews and assisting with the candidate selection process Creating career paths and training programs for all employees, utilizing John Deere resources Managing the compensation and benefit plans for the company, including working with benefit broker on health insurance offering and coordinating items related to 401(k) plan Administering incentive programs for the Aftermarket and Sales teams Ensuring compliance with all Federal, State and local employment laws Coordinating performance management processes for the company Assisting in development of employee policies and procedures for the company and counsel managers and employees on the adherence to the policies, procedures, laws and regulations Working with the Safety committee to help implement safety plans, including required training, injury prevention and Human Resources related legal requirements Serving as a member of the management team by assisting in the implementation of strategic plans Managing employee recognition program Participation in trainings, events and conferences Other duties as assigned What we need from you: Experience in human resources activities including compensation, benefits, staffing, employee development and legal compliance Knowledge of employment laws, policies and regulations Understand minimum wage laws, confidentiality policies, employee notification requirements and other regulatory policies Ability to write and speak effectively to individuals and groups Ability to use computer applications such as Microsoft Office and online tools provided by John Deere Degree in Human Resources, Business Management or equivalent experience Preferred, but not required: Human Resources professional certification such as SHRM-CP or PHR.
