Job Description

Martin Construction Inc. (MCI) Dickinson ND, is looking for a versatile and highly-organized Human Resource Manager. This position offers an opportunity to shape our company's HR strategy, while fostering a dynamic work environment that promotes growth and excellence across all departments. The successful candidate shall provide an employee-oriented culture utilizing company goals. MCI would like this position to be filled by May 7th, 2026.
Human Resource Manager Responsibilities:
Assume the administrative authority, responsibility and accountability of directing the Human Resource Department Lead employee recruiting process Oversee orientation of new employees Ensure compliance with all government reporting and policies and industry standards Maintain employee benefit programs Uphold professionalism regarding all employee and corporate issues Represent the organization at job fairs by coordinating and setting up recruitment booths, engaging with candidates, and promoting employment opportunities.
Skills:
Extensive knowledge of human resources management practices, including talent acquisition, benefits administration, performance management and employee relations. Administer HRIS systems such as Vista for reporting and HR data management. Exceptional communication skills for engaging employees at all levels and managing conflict resolutions professionally. Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
Preferred Qualifications:
Recruiting, Human Resources Management, Benefits Administration, Performance Management, Communication Processes, Compensation and Wage Structure, Supports Diversity, Employment Law Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business or related curriculum 2+ years HR experience in a construction environment is preferred Strong leadership and organizational skills Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Strong problem solving and analytical skills
