We provide support, care, and lifelong memories. What will I do? As a Director of Human Resources, you will oversee the recruitment of new team members, curate a culture of kindness and support. You will work our team to bring the dreams of the individuals we support to life.
Essential Duties Culture Curation:
Actively build, maintain, and strengthen a positive, kind, and caring organizational culture. Design and implement culture-focused initiatives that reinforce company values, promote employee engagement, and foster a supportive and inclusive work environment. Talent Acquisition & Onboarding :
Recruit kind, caring, and intrinsically motivated individuals who align with our organizational values. Conduct initial interviews, schedule follow-up interviews with hiring managers, complete pre-employment screening, and lead comprehensive New Hire Orientation. Employee Records Management :
Maintain accurate and organized historical human resource records by designing and managing effective filing and retrieval systems for both past and current documentation. Performance Management Support :
Send timely reminders to managers for upcoming performance evaluations, collect completed evaluations, and ensure proper organization and filing. Legal Compliance :
Ensure adherence to all applicable federal and state human resource laws and regulations by monitoring requirements, implementing necessary updates, and maintaining required documentation. Workers' Compensation :
Process Worker's Compensation claims, complete all necessary paperwork, and provide ongoing follow-up on active claims. Employee Relations :
Mediate workplace issues, hear and resolve employee grievances, and provide counseling and guidance to both employees and supervisors. Job Structure & Compensation :
Maintain an organized work structure by regularly updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions. Manage compensation planning through periodic pay surveys, preparation of pay budgets, monitoring of individual pay actions, and recommending/implementing pay structure revisions. Policy Development :
Develop, update, and recommend human resource policies and procedures to maintain clear and effective management guidelines. Professional Development :
Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing industry publications, building professional networks, and participating in relevant professional societies.
