Your Tasks Serve as the primary HR leader for a multi‑shift, non‑union manufacturing operation, partnering closely with plant leadership to align people strategies with business objectives Review and consult on management practices to ensure fair and consistent treatment of employees and compliance with all applicable employment laws, corporate policies, and procedures Support a workplace culture grounded in respect and dignity by equipping leaders with the tools, coaching, and guidance needed to effectively lead and manage their teams Champion a positive and engaging employee experience, building trust through open communication, consistency, and proactive relationship‑building across all shifts Lead employee relations with a solutions‑oriented approach, coaching leaders, addressing concerns early, and conducting investigations when needed in a fair, consistent, and compliant manner Design and execute employee engagement initiatives that strengthen culture, enhance retention, and support a high‑performance work environment Lead all core HR functions, including talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management, training and development, and compliance Track, analyze, and leverage HR and workforce KPIs to identify trends, inform decisions, and drive continuous improvement in engagement, retention, and overall plant performance Evaluate labor market trends and industry best practices to support competitive and effective people programs Oversee payroll coordination, benefits administration, and annual compensation processes, ensuring compliant, accurate, and employee‑focused execution aligned with market practices Lead, mentor, and develop the plant HR team, ensuring responsive day‑to‑day support of the business while fostering a positive, collaborative, and engagement‑focused HR culture Partner closely with Regional Corporate HR to implement corporate programs, processes, and initiatives at the plant level, ensuring alignment and consistency. Your Profile Work Experience Proven HR leadership experience required, with accountability for multiple HR disciplines in a fast‑paced operational environment Skills Demonstrated strength in employee relations, including building trust with employees, coaching leaders, proactively addressing concerns, and managing investigations when necessary Strong experience leading or supporting employee engagement initiatives, including listening strategies, action planning, and culture‑focused improvements Experience in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred (automotive is a plus); experience in a high‑volume warehouse or distribution operation will also be considered Ability to effectively support a 24/7, multi‑shift operation, with flexibility to engage across all shifts as needed • Solid working knowledge of employment law, HR compliance, and best practices in a non‑union environment • Experience overseeing or partnering on payroll coordination, benefits administration, and compensation processes Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop HR team members, balancing day‑to‑day operational support with longer‑term people strategies Strong communication, judgment, collaboration, and relationship‑building skills, with the ability to partner effectively with plant leadership and Regional Corporate HR Education Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field required Our organization is an equal opportunity employer.
