Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Human Resources (HR) Manager to support a dynamic aerospace environment in California. This contract-to-permanent opportunity is ideal for a hands-on HR specialist who can guide core people operations, strengthen employee engagement, and partner with leaders across the organization. The role will oversee essential human resources programs spanning talent acquisition, compliance, benefits, and workplace relations while helping maintain a positive, safety-focused culture.
Responsibilities:
  • Direct daily human resources activities for multiple teams, ensuring consistent application of policies and alignment with employment regulations.
  • Work closely with department leadership to address staffing needs, support workforce planning, and contribute to long-term talent development efforts.
  • Coordinate the complete employee lifecycle, including recruiting, onboarding, transitions, and separation processes.
  • Manage benefits administration by supporting health coverage, retirement offerings, and employee leave programs.
  • Maintain HR records and practices in accordance with applicable labor laws, eligibility verification standards, and company compliance requirements.
  • Serve as the company contact for regulated drug and alcohol testing programs and monitor related administrative processes.
  • Help design and deliver training initiatives that support leadership growth, policy awareness, and required compliance education.
  • Build strong relationships across the organization by maintaining an active presence with employees and supervisors in operational areas.
  • Promote a workplace culture that values accountability, safety, collaboration, and employee involvement.
  • Support payroll preparation and timekeeping coordination when needed, in partnership with internal stakeholders.
