Job Description
Job Overview The Human Resources Director is responsible for overseeing and managing all day-to-day human resources operations. This role provides full-cycle HR support, including employee relations, compliance, recruiting, payroll, benefits administration, compensation planning, and HR operations. The position serves as the primary HR resource for employees and leadership and plays a key role in ensuring consistent application of HR policies and practices.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
HR Operations & Compliance Administer and enforce all HR policies, procedures, and programs Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws and regulatory reporting requirements Maintain HR records, documentation, and personnel files in a confidential and organized manner Develop, update, and maintain employee handbook, sales handbook and job descriptions Recruitment & Onboarding Manage full-cycle recruitment, including sourcing, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding Oversee new hire orientation, onboarding, training coordination, and integration into company systems Manager performance review processes in partnership with management Employee Relations Serve as primary contact for employee relations matters Conduct workplace investigations, conflict resolution, and mediation as needed Provide guidance to managers and supervisors on HR policies and employee issues Conduct exit interviews Payroll, Benefits & Compensation Oversee and manage biweekly payroll processing, including audits, PTO tracking, timecard review, 401(k) and other contributions, payroll tax management and processing payroll journal entries Manager, negotiate and administer employee benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, disability, AFLAC, COBRA, and related vendor coordination Manage open enrollment processes and benefit communications Oversee short-term disability, workers' compensation, unemployment claims, and other leave programs (FMLA, PTO, etc.) Manager and administer the company's 401(k) retirement plan Manage annual compensation planning for office employees and compensation structures for sales employees, including commission and incentive programs HR Data & Administration Ensure integrity of HR records, reporting, and documentation IT Onboarding & Telecommunications Coordinate employee equipment setup and distribution (laptops, phones, iPads) Manage mobile device and telecommunications vendor relationships and contracts Partner with Operations and Finance to ensure proper employee system access and onboarding integration Office Operations & Business Support Support day-to-day office operations, including supplies, vendor coordination, and facilities support and improvements Manage corporate card administration Reduce administrative operating costs wherever possible Manager lease negotiations and landlord communication Manage corporate insurance policies (liability, property, workers' compensation, etc.) Provide Certificate of Insurance (COI's) for Riedel events as needed Prepare and review contracts and coordinate with legal counsel as needed Process and approve company payments through banking systems when required Other duties as assigned Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience) 7+ years of progressive HR experience in a Generalist or HR Leadership role Strong knowledge of federal and multi-state employment laws and HR compliance requirements Experience managing payroll, benefits administration, and compensation planning Experience in employee relations, investigations, and performance management Strong organizational and administrative skills with ability to manage multiple priorities High level of confidentiality, discretion, and professionalism Strong communication, interpersonal, collaborative and leadership skills Proficiency with HR/payroll platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite Demonstrated ability to operate in a hands-on, fast-paced environment Work Style / Expectations Hands-on, independent operator capable of managing with minimal input Strong problem-solving and ownership mindset Ability to support the organization in a wide range of HR and Administrative Operational needs as requiredPay:
$90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per yearBenefits:
