Job Description

CHEMED Health Center is seeking an organized, detail-oriented Scheduling Manager to oversee provider and medical assistant scheduling across our Primary Care and Specialty Care departments. This position plays a critical role in ensuring appropriate staffing coverage, schedule accuracy, and operational efficiency across multiple locations.
Responsibilities:
Create, maintain, and publish provider and MA schedules using QGenda Coordinate coverage for PTO, call-outs, shift changes, and staffing gaps Serve as the primary contact for scheduling-related issues and same-day staffing needs Communicate schedule updates to staff and leadership in a timely manner Monitor attendance, overtime, and scheduling trends Coordinate MA cross-coverage between departments and locations Partner with clinical and operational leaders to support staffing needs Generate scheduling reports and maintain scheduling compliance
Qualifications:
Experience in healthcare scheduling, staffing coordination, or healthcare operations Strong organizational and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Proficiency with scheduling software and
Microsoft Office Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in a multi-site healthcare organization Experience with QGenda or similar workforce management software Previous supervisory or team lead experience FQHC or community health center experience Why Join CHEMED?
