249 Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Educational Administration, or a related field required School Business Official License required. Master's degree preferred Administrative License preferred Minimum of five years of experience in human resources or personnel administration. Experience in public education is preferred. PHR or SPHR certification preferred. Strong written, verbal, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Compensation and Benefits Administer employee benefit programs, including health, retirement, and disability plans. Certify employee classifications and salary schedules. Conduct research and provide recommendations related to compensation and benefits. Policy Development and Administration Develop, revise, and implement personnel policies and procedures in accordance with applicable laws and Board policies. Provide guidance to administrators and employees regarding personnel policies and employment matters. Communicate changes in policies, procedures, and regulations to district staff. Leadership and Collaboration Supervise and evaluate Human Resources staff. Participate as a member of the Superintendent's leadership team. Support district goals through effective communication, collaboration, and strategic planning. Promote a culture of professionalism, equity, respect, and continuous improvement. Other Duties Respond to surveys, reports, and requests for personnel information. Perform administrator reviews of Professional Development Dossiers. Perform other duties as assigned by the Superintendent. Job Goal To provide leadership and direction for the district's human resources functions in a manner that promotes organizational effectiveness, employee excellence, and a positive work environment, ultimately maximizing educational opportunities and outcomes for all students.
