Job Description
Robert Half is seeking an HR Manager for a Las Vegas client experiencing significant growth and acquisitions. This is a permanent, direct-hire opportunity reporting to the Corporate Director of Human Resources. The HR Manager is a hands-on leader responsible for supporting employee success across the organization. This role oversees key HR functions including payroll, benefits, recruitment, training and development, onboarding, employee relations, and HR systems, while ensuring alignment with business goals and a strong employee experience. The ideal candidate has experience leading an HR team, owning benefits strategy beyond administration, managing employee relations and investigations, and using data to improve results.
Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & HR StrategyLead team members across HR, recruitment, and training/developmentDrive initiatives that improve engagement, retention, satisfaction, and organizational effectivenessPartner with leadership on workforce planning, talent development, performance management, compliance, and organizational designCoach managers on performance issues, policy interpretation, and conflict resolutionManage HR projects across benefits, onboarding, training, investigations, and employee relationsOversee HR vendors and outsourced partnersBenefits Strategy & AdministrationOwn benefits strategy, including plan design, cost analysis, and employee valueNegotiate with brokers and carriers, evaluate plan options and deductibles, model cost-saving opportunities, and make recommendations to leadershipManage benefits administration, vendor relationships, open enrollment, and employee educationEnsure accurate administration of medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and 401(k) programsMonitor benefits trends and competitiveness to support planningEmployee Relations & ComplianceLead employee relations efforts and handle sensitive workplace matters with professionalism and confidentialityConduct internal investigations involving complaints, policy violations, and EEO concernsEnsure consistent application of policies, documentation, and corrective actionMaintain compliance with employment laws and HR best practicesRespond to audits, claims, and agency inquiries as neededLeave AdministrationOversee ADA, FMLA, short-term disability, workers' compensation, and personal leave casesEnsure leave processes are compliant, documented, and clearly communicatedSupport accommodations and return-to-work planningTalent Acquisition, Onboarding & DevelopmentSupport employee and leadership development initiativesHRIS, Payroll & ReportingServe as the primary point of contact for Paycom workflows, reporting, troubleshooting, and user supportProvide workforce reporting on headcount, turnover, compliance, and other HR metricsIdentify opportunities to improve HR systems and workflows
