Job Description

Description Robert Half is seeking an HR Manager for a Las Vegas client experiencing significant growth and acquisitions. This is a permanent, direct-hire opportunity reporting to the Corporate Director of Human Resources. The HR Manager is a hands-on leader responsible for supporting employee success across the organization. This role oversees key HR functions including payroll, benefits, recruitment, training and development, onboarding, employee relations, and HR systems, while ensuring alignment with business goals and a strong employee experience. The ideal candidate has experience leading an HR team, owning benefits strategy beyond administration, managing employee relations and investigations, and using data to improve results. Key Responsibilities Leadership & HR Strategy + Lead team members across HR, recruitment, and training/development + Drive initiatives that improve engagement, retention, satisfaction, and organizational effectiveness + Partner with leadership on workforce planning, talent development, performance management, compliance, and organizational design + Coach managers on performance issues, policy interpretation, and conflict resolution + Manage HR projects across benefits, onboarding, training, investigations, and employee relations + Oversee HR vendors and outsourced partners Benefits Strategy & Administration + Own benefits strategy, including plan design, cost analysis, and employee value + Negotiate with brokers and carriers, evaluate plan options and deductibles, model cost-saving opportunities, and make recommendations to leadership + Manage benefits administration, vendor relationships, open enrollment, and employee education + Ensure accurate administration of medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and 401(k) programs + Monitor benefits trends and competitiveness to support planning Employee Relations & Compliance + Lead employee relations efforts and handle sensitive workplace matters with professionalism and confidentiality + Conduct internal investigations involving complaints, policy violations, and EEO concerns + Ensure consistent application of policies, documentation, and corrective action + Maintain compliance with employment laws and HR best practices + Respond to audits, claims, and agency inquiries as needed Leave Administration + Oversee ADA, FMLA, short-term disability, workers' compensation, and personal leave cases + Ensure leave processes are compliant, documented, and clearly communicated + Support accommodations and return-to-work planning Talent Acquisition, Onboarding & Development + Support employee and leadership development initiatives HRIS, Payroll & Reporting + Serve as the primary point of contact for Paycom workflows, reporting, troubleshooting, and user support + Provide workforce reporting on headcount, turnover, compliance, and other HR metrics + Identify opportunities to improve HR systems and workflows Requirements Required Qualifications + Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field + 5-7 years of progressive HR experience, including 2+ years in a leadership or supervisory role + Experience managing HR programs across benefits, employee relations, investigations, onboarding, and training + Strong background in benefits strategy and administration, including plan evaluation, vendor management, cost analysis, and leadership recommendations + Proven experience handling employee relations matters, workplace investigations, and other sensitive issues + Strong knowledge of ADA, FMLA, leave administration, and employment law compliance + 5-7 years of experience with HRIS platforms such as Paycom, ADP, or Workday + Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills + Ability to manage competing priorities, use sound judgment, and maintain confidentiality Preferred Qualifications + HR certification such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR + Experience in a fast-paced, multi-site, or high-growth environment + Strong analytical skills and ability to use data to drive recommendations and improve HR outcomes TalentMatch® Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
