Young are seeking candidates for our client's Human Resources Manager position. A well established, mission-driven organization in the Abany area is seeking a dedicated and experienced Human Resources Manager to join their team. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about people, highly organized, and experienced in managing HR functions in a professional office environment.
Summary:
The Human Resources Manager is responsible for overseeing employee benefits, supporting daily HR operations, and ensuring compliance with company policies and employment regulations. This role plays a key part in supporting both employees and leadership.
Responsibilities:
Administer employee benefits programs, including Health, Retirement (401k), disability, and workers' compensation. Conduct new hire orientations and benefit information Assist employees with benefit enrollment, changes, and general HR inquiries Track eligibility and maintain accurate records Coordinate with payroll regarding benefit updates and changes Manage leave of absence request (FMLA, ADA, etc. ) and related documentation Maintain compliance with COBRA and other regulatory requirements Organize and maintain confidential personnel files Process employee status changes, onboarding, and terminations Support overall HR operations and administrative functions
Qualifications:
Knowledge of employee benefits programs and HR practices Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong interpersonal and employee relations skills Excellent computer skills and experience with database systems Highly organized with strong attention to detail Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
Requirements:
Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation
Education & Experience:
Associate's Degree with 2-3 years of HR experience required Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
Pay:
Up to $52,000.00 per year
