Buffalo, NY Job Details Full-time $75,000 - $85,000 a year 1 day ago Qualifications HR systems (technically supported) Bachelor's degree Productivity software Full Job Description Sr. Human Resource Business Partner performs functions to provide HR expertise, leadership, and guidance and participates in and supports team member relations and performance management as a member of the Human Resources team. Primary Responsibilities Communicate HR policies, procedures, practices and standards to leaders and team members. Partner internally across the organization to build understanding and compliance. Responsible for assigned team member relations cases. Conduct team member relations investigations and partner with HR leadership on appropriate resolution. Monitor in partnership with management the counselling, coaching, and performance management for team members. Serve as a steward to model, communicate, and / or facilitate - in partnership with management - the core values of Parkview Health Services family of pharmacies. Coordinate and manage termination processes, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and organizational policies. Handle unemployment notices and claims, collaborating with HR leadership to provide accurate documentation and information in support of claims management. Oversee the performance review process by planning, coordinating, communicating and training on the workflow and process for managers and team members. Participate in the approval process by reviewing submissions and providing feedback and coaching to leaders. Participate in any variety of meetings and work groups to integrate activities, communicate issues, obtain approvals, resolve problems and maintain specified level of knowledge pertaining to new developments, requirements, and policies as it relates to labor laws at the federal, state and local levels. Support leave of absence and benefit department as a back-up when needed. Perform other related duties as assigned. Key Skills Strong team building skills, with the ability to influence and lead, teach, train, counsel, and coach to accomplish organizational goals. Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal employment laws, counselling/coaching, and strong presentation skills. Tremendous conflict management skills and the demonstrated ability to problem solve and effectively diffuse highly charged situations. Demonstrates strong character, builds partnerships, role models leadership qualities such as motivation, passion, and trust. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and priorities while meeting time commitments. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of applications, HRIS systems required with a preference for Paycom experience. Education/Experience Requirements Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field required.
SHRM/HRCI
certification highly preferred. Minimum experience of 5 years as a HR generalist. Supporting multiple locations in healthcare/pharmacy environment preferred.
